Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of DB Diagram Flow.
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of DB Diagram Flow (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
DB Diagram Flow lets you design and visualize Postgres schemas as DBML text or on a visual canvas, mirror a live database read-only, export SQL and Drizzle, and connect AI agents through a native MCP server. Features may change as the product evolves.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and API keys secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Authentication is handled through our identity provider.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to breach security or rate limits, no reverse engineering, and no use of the Service to access databases you are not authorized to connect. We may suspend accounts that put the Service or other users at risk.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the schemas, DBML, and diagrams you create. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host and operate the Service for you. DBML is the single persisted format for your diagrams; we do not claim ownership of your data.
6. Database connections
When you connect a live database, we require and verify a read-only role before accepting the connection, and we only ever read from it — the product never writes back to your database. Connection strings are encrypted at rest; see the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Sharing
Public share links are strictly read-only and use non-enumerable identifiers, so a diagram is only reachable by someone who has its link. You are responsible for who you share links with.
8. Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, Polar. Fees, limits, and trial terms are described on the pricing page. Unless stated otherwise, charges are non-refundable and plans renew until cancelled.
9. Cancellation and deletion
You may cancel or delete your account at any time. Deleting your account performs a real teardown of your data and identity, subject to limited retention required by law. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.
10. Third-party attribution
DB Diagram Flow is built on the open-source DBML tooling by Holistics, used under the Apache-2.0 license. This is a nominative use and does not imply endorsement.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@dbdiagramflow.com.
